The first students live in one of the five houses of the university on floors with other undergraduate students. If you are a first-year student, you have a special medical need for a single room, Dr. Alison Hobbs must evaluate a physician`s documentation to determine the student`s special housing needs. Please see the form under the link provided. For those who need accommodation for Jan. 2021 to May 2021 Yes. All enrolled students must reside every four years in a university-approved housing option. Students choose from the university`s portfolio of apartments. All first-year students will be ordered to register to complete an online housing application. Responses to the housing request are used to assign each student to a compatible roommate.
Students will receive their housing allowance and roommate information at the beginning of August. The typical rental period is about 11.5 months of occupancy, which corresponds to the academic calendar of the university. A total amount of rent is charged to the occupant for the contractually agreed occupancy period. The lease agreement reflects the total amount of rent, which is usually divided into 12 equal tranches due from August 1 to July 1. These payments are not a monthly amount of rent and will not be paid on a pro rata basis. A resident can act as a guarantor if he can prove, in accordance with the rental agreement, that he has an income greater than three times the rent. All residents need a surety to conclude the warranty contract. Discover nine different housing or theme options for all first-year children.
