Animation Guild Local 839 and its parent union, the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE), negotiate contracts called „collective agreements“ (CBA) – which govern the minimum wage, hours, working conditions and benefits of its members employed in the signatory institutions. Storyboard artists collaborate with filmmakers to visually interpret television, advertising or film scripts. They produce a sequence of drawn or digital images, much like comic trips, called storyboards, to visualize the story.
